Peace of Mind Protection
Roofing Warranties & Certifications
Not every roofing project needs the same kind of protection. Replacing a roof, fixing a specific problem, certifying a roof for a sale, and maintaining it over time are different jobs — so we back each one differently. Here's exactly what's covered, so you know what to expect before we ever start.
For Your Home
Residential Warranties & Certifications: What's Right for Your Home?
Replacing a whole roof, fixing a specific problem, and getting a roof ready for a home sale are three different jobs — so we back them with three different guarantees.
| Feature | New Roof Installation | Roof Repair | Roof Certification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Replacing your entire roof | Fixing a specific issue (leak, damaged section, flashing, etc.) | Selling, buying, or insuring a home with an older roof |
| Term | 10-year labor + 50-year manufacturer warranty | 1-year repair warranty | 3-year or 5-year certification |
| What it covers | Our installation workmanship, plus the shingle manufacturer's material warranty | Our workmanship on the specific repair performed | A professional assessment of your roof's remaining useful life |
New Roof Installation: 10-Year Labor + 50-Year Manufacturer Warranty
When ARCM installs a complete new roof, you're protected on two fronts — our own written labor warranty covering the installation, and the shingle manufacturer's material warranty covering the product itself. Together, that means you're covered on both what the roof is made of, and how it was put on.
Our labor, guaranteed by us
10-Year Labor Warranty
If a leak or roofing failure happens because of an error in how we installed your roof — not a materials issue — we'll repair it at no cost to you for labor, for a full 10 years. Read the full warranty terms below.
- ✓Installation-related leaks covered for 10 full years
- ✓Flashing workmanship (chimneys, walls, valleys, vent pipes)
- ✓Improper fastening or sealing issues
- ✓Underlayment installation problems
- ✓Ventilation installation done by ARCM
- ✓Zero out-of-pocket costs for covered repairs
- ✓Transferable one time to the next owner of your home
Materials, backed by the manufacturer
50-Year Manufacturer Shingle Warranty
If the material has a manufacturing defect — premature wear, cracking, granule loss — the manufacturer stands behind their product for up to 50 years. As certified installers, we help make sure your project qualifies for the strongest warranty tier available.
- ✓Shingle defects and premature aging
- ✓Granule loss protection
- ✓Blistering or cracking coverage
- ✓Wind ratings up to manufacturer's limit
- ✓Impact-resistant shingle options
- ✓Extended system warranty upgrades available
- ✓Properly registered with the manufacturer before we leave
Roof Repair Warranty
Not every roofing issue calls for a full replacement. When our team completes a repair — a section of damaged shingles, a flashing fix, a leak resolved without a full tear-off — that work is backed by our 1-Year Repair Warranty. If the specific issue we repaired resurfaces due to our workmanship within that window, we'll come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
This warranty covers the repair we performed. It doesn't extend the life of the rest of your roof, which may still be aging even after a successful repair.
Roof Certifications: 3-Year & 5-Year Options
If you're selling a home, buying a home, or renewing homeowners insurance on an older roof, you may be asked for a roof certification — a professional inspection confirming your roof has a certain amount of useful life left. ARCM offers a 3-Year and a 5-Year Certification, confirming your roof is expected to perform without major issues for at least that long.
This is the certification most commonly requested by realtors, buyers, sellers, and insurance companies. If minor repairs are needed for your roof to qualify, we'll walk you through exactly what's required before issuing the certification.
Not Sure Which One You Need?
- Getting a whole new roof? → 10-Year Labor Warranty + 50-Year Manufacturer Warranty
- Fixing a specific problem? → 1-Year Roof Repair Warranty
- Selling, buying, or insuring a home with an older roof? → 3 or 5-Year Roof Certification
For Your Building
Commercial Warranties & Certifications: What's Right for Your Building?
Replacing an entire roof system, repairing a specific issue, certifying a roof's condition for a sale or insurance renewal, and keeping a roof maintained over time are different jobs — so we back each one differently.
| Feature | Commercial Roof Warranty | Repair Warranty | Roof Certification | Maintenance Plans |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Replacing your entire commercial roof system | Fixing a specific issue (leak, membrane damage, flashing, etc.) | Selling, buying, refinancing, or insuring a building with an existing roof | Extending roof life and staying warranty-compliant year-round |
| Term | 3-year labor + up to 20-year NDL manufacturer warranty | 1-year repair warranty | 3-year or 5-year certification | 1, 3, 5, or 10-year plans |
| What it covers | Our installation workmanship, plus the manufacturer's material warranty | Our workmanship on the specific repair performed | A professional assessment of your roof's remaining useful life | Scheduled inspections and upkeep that protect your investment |
Commercial Roof Warranty: 3-Year Labor + Up to 20-Year NDL Manufacturer Warranty
Our labor, guaranteed by us
3-Year Labor Warranty
If a leak or roofing failure happens because of an error in how we installed your commercial roof system — not a materials issue — we'll repair it at no cost to you for labor, for a full 3 years.
Materials, backed by the manufacturer
Up to 20-Year NDL Manufacturer Warranty
NDL means No Dollar Limit — unlike a prorated warranty, coverage doesn't shrink over time and payouts aren't capped. The manufacturer covers the roofing materials for up to 20 years depending on the system installed. As certified installers, we help make sure your project qualifies for the strongest warranty tier available.
Commercial Roof Repair Warranty
When our team completes a repair — patching membrane damage, resealing a seam, correcting a flashing detail, or resolving a leak without a full tear-off — that work is backed by our 1-Year Repair Warranty. If the specific issue we repaired resurfaces due to our workmanship within that window, we'll come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
Commercial Roof Certifications: 3-Year & 5-Year Options
If you're selling, buying, refinancing, or insuring a commercial building, you may be asked for a roof certification confirming the roof's remaining useful life. ARCM offers 3-Year and 5-Year Certifications — the documentation most commonly requested by property managers, lenders, buyers, sellers, and insurance carriers. If minor repairs are needed to qualify, we'll walk you through exactly what's required first.
Commercial Roof Maintenance Plans: 1, 3, 5 & 10-Year Options
A commercial roof is one of your building's largest assets, and it lasts longest with scheduled care. Many manufacturer warranties even require documented maintenance to stay valid. Each plan includes scheduled inspections, debris and drain clearing, and a documented report after every visit.
1-Year Plan
A maintenance baseline, ideal for a newly installed roof.
3-Year Plan
Routine seasonal care with pricing locked in for the term.
5-Year Plan
Extended coverage that supports long-term NDL warranty compliance.
10-Year Plan
Comprehensive, ongoing care for maximum predictability.

The Official Terms, In Full
Residential 10-Year Limited Workmanship & Labor Warranty
These are the complete terms of the ARCM Roofing Inc. residential installation warranty — the same document you receive in writing with your new roof. It covers the quality of labor and installation provided by ARCM Roofing Inc., and is separate from, and in addition to, the manufacturer's 50-year lifetime warranty on roofing materials.
§ 1
What the ARCM Roofing Warranty Covers
ARCM Roofing Inc. warrants that the labor used to install your roofing system will be free from defects in workmanship for 10 years from the date of installation completion.
If a leak or roof system failure occurs during the warranty period as a direct result of an error in our installation — rather than a defect in the roofing materials or a cause listed in Section 2 — ARCM Roofing Inc. will repair the affected area at no charge for labor. Covered issues include, but are not limited to:
- ✓Improperly installed or missing flashing (chimneys, sidewalls, valleys, skylights)
- ✓Incorrect fastening, nailing, or attachment patterns
- ✓Improperly lapped, sealed, or fastened underlayment
- ✓Improperly installed ventilation components
- ✓Improperly sealed roof penetrations (pipe boots, vent stacks, mechanical curbs)
§ 2
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- ✕Manufacturing defects in shingles or other roofing products — covered separately under the manufacturer's own warranty
- ✕Damage from severe weather, including hail, winds exceeding the manufacturer's rated wind speed, tornadoes, or hurricanes (often a homeowner's insurance matter)
- ✕Damage caused by other contractors or trades accessing the roof after installation (satellite/antenna installers, solar installers, HVAC technicians, holiday lighting, etc.)
- ✕Damage from lack of reasonable roof or gutter maintenance, including clogged gutters, debris buildup, or ice damming
- ✕Structural settling or movement of the home unrelated to the roofing system
- ✕Condensation or moisture damage caused by inadequate attic ventilation, where a ventilation upgrade was recommended in writing and declined
- ✕Pre-existing conditions outside ARCM Roofing's original scope of work
- ✕Incidental or consequential damages, including damage to interior finishes, personal property, or temporary housing costs
§ 3
Remedy
ARCM Roofing's sole obligation under this warranty is to repair, or at its discretion replace, the specific portion of the roofing system affected by a covered workmanship defect. This warranty does not extend to costs unrelated to the roofing system itself.
§ 4
Transferability
This warranty may be transferred one time to the subsequent owner of the property, provided ARCM Roofing Inc. is notified in writing within 30 days of the change in ownership.
§ 5
Filing a Claim
To file a claim, call ARCM Roofing Inc. at (303) 306-8334 — a live person answers the phone — and describe the issue. Photos are always helpful if you can provide them. We will schedule an inspection within 12 hours of receiving your claim. If the inspection confirms a covered defect, we will schedule the repair — usually the same day, weather and material availability permitting.
§ 6
Homeowner Responsibilities
To keep this warranty in effect, the homeowner agrees to:
- ✓Provide reasonable access to the property for inspection and repair
- ✓Maintain gutters, downspouts, and attic ventilation
- ✓Notify ARCM Roofing in writing or by phone within a reasonable time of discovering any suspected issue
- ✓Notify ARCM Roofing before any other party performs roofing-related work during the warranty period — unauthorized work on the roofing system may void coverage for the affected area
§ 7
Relationship to the Manufacturer's Warranty
This warranty covers labor and installation only. It does not extend, modify, or replace the manufacturer's warranty on roofing materials, which is provided directly by the manufacturer under separate terms. Homeowners should register their manufacturer's product warranty as instructed to preserve those rights.
§ 8
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for workmanship-related claims and is provided in place of all other warranties, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. ARCM Roofing's total liability under this warranty will not exceed the original contract price paid for the roofing installation.
§ 9
Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
